For a true 11x17 print or poster, choose an 11x17 frame without a mat. For smaller artwork such as 8x10 or 8.5x11, add a separately purchased mat with an 11x17 outer size and the correct opening. If the artwork itself measures 11x17 and you want a visible mat border, choose an 18x24 frame with a compatible mat opening for the artwork.
